• Jerry
Pavey is an International Gold Medal designer and artist who has been a part of the Washington, DC
area advertising community his entire
career. His
firm produces a variety of design and illustration projects
for corporate, small business, trade
association, government and public service clients that include logo designs, corporate identity programs, brochures, annual reports,
magazine/newspaper advertising, posters, photography and a variety of imaginative illustrations.

• He has received over 300 awards for his work, including Gold, Silver and
Special Gold Medals For Innovation from such prestigious groups as The White House Presidential Awards Program,
New York and Washington Art Directors Clubs, New York Society of Illustrators, Washington Advertising Club,
American Advertising Federation ADDY Awards (local, regional
and national), New York Advertising Club ACE Awards, Print Magazine’s Best
Annual Reports In The USA, Society of
Publication Designers, and AIGA. Annual
reports and wall calendars he has designed, illustrated and produced have garnered over 25 Gold Medals in
various competitions- 2 Special Gold Medals For Innovation
from the Printing Industries Of America (PIA), runner-up for Best Of Show in
the New York Advertising Club ACE
Show, and runner-up for Best Of Show in both the National Calendar Marketing
Competition and the World Calendar Marketing
Competition.

has been featured in all major design, art and advertising magazines/books in
the United States, Japan, Canada, Germany,
Switzerland, and England, and include: ‘Designing Corporate Symbols’ (2
issues); ‘Trademarks’ (4 issues); ‘America
Corporate Identity’ (3 issues); ‘Annual Report Trends’ (3 issues); ‘Print Regional Design Annual’ (10 issues); ‘Graphics’ (3 issues); ‘Print Magazine’s Best Of
Corporate Publications’ (4 issues); ‘Communication Arts
Design Annual’ (4 issues); and ‘Communication Arts Art Annual’ (2 issues).
Feature articles/chapters have appeared
in the books ‘The Best Of 3-Dimensional Art’, ‘Fabric and Needlework Art’,
‘Fabric Sculpture’, ‘Print Magazine’ and
Japan’s ‘Illustration’.

• His art
is a part of the permanent collection of The New York Museum Of American
Illustration, as well as numerous private and
corporate collections: Exxon-Mobil Oil, Brookings Institute, Goodwill
Industries Of America, National Institutes Of
Health and New York Fiscal Agency For The Farm Credit Banks to name a few, and
is sold in select galleries throughout the
country.

served on the governing boards of many area art and advertising clubs; has
contributed artwork to, and written articles for,
various publications for features on excellence in art and advertising; has
served as consultant on art/design to the U.S.
Civil Service Commission.

• Pavey regularly donates his art/design to The United Nations UNICEF Children’s
Relief Fund for use on greeting cards. He is very proud
that items bearing his work have sold over 2.5 million pieces toward this
global humanitarian effort.
